Kyra Minturn

 KyraMinturn Sedgwickwas born on 19th August 1965, is an American actor. She is most famous for portraying the role of the Deputy Chief Brenda Leigh Johnson (TVN crime drama The Closer). As a result of her portrayal as Johnson, Sedgwick won a Golden Globe Award in 2007 and an Emmy Award in 2010. After the end of the seventh season, the series was cancelled on the 13th of August 2012. Sedgwick's recurring role of Madeline Wuntch in the sitcom Brooklyn Nine-Nine is also noteworthy. Sedgwick won a Golden Globe Award for her performance in Something to Talk About (1995). Sedgwick's film roles include Oliver Stone's Born to the Fourth of July (1989) as well as Cameron Crowe's solos (1992), Heart and Souls(93), Phenomenon (1996) as well as What's Cooking (2000) as well as Secondhand Lions (2003). The Game Plan (2007) and The Possession (2012). Sedgwick is the daughter of Patricia Rosenwald and is an educator and family therapist, a venture capitalist, and Henry Dwight Sedgwick VII Speech therapist. Her mother was Jewish, and her father was an Episcopalian. Sedgwick was of English origins. Sedgwick has publicly declared her Jewish roots and stated that she is a part of Passover seders.
